We travelled back to Meadow Lake and spent the first week of June there. A bit of dental work got done as did some work on the house. The electrical was finished on Monday and the inspector came by on Friday and inspected it. He declared the job "perfect" and mentioned that he had spent the week inspecting in the north from Beauval to Laloche and had not seen much that was perfect. I asked if that was homeowners or contractors and he said "both". I find that disturbing.
The metal roof got installed on the water shed and a couple of rows of wood got split and added to the woodshed. On Thursday I drove Juanita to Lloydminster and handed her off to Nick who took her back to Fort Saskatchewan with him. Rebeckah was already there and he was coming from Regina. Juanita minded Ezekial while they took care of some business and then she came back to Regina with Rebekah the following week. I drove to Saskatoon on Saturday, spent the evening with friends and then carried on to Regina the next day. I took a side trip to look at the pedestrian bridge in Outlook (it's a bridge) and also pulled off the highway and wandered around the eco village at Craik.
Then it was back to work at the refinery for me and at the thrift store for Juanta for the rest of the month.
